Call of Duty: Warzone’s second season has introduced a new map, Ashika Island, for battle royale and DMZ. The map features a new Weapon Case event for DMZ, and players can earn unique rewards by successfully completing it. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to earn all the new rewards.

Weapon Case Events Explained

The Weapon Case event on Ashika Island’s DMZ works similarly to the one on Al Mazrah. The event only occurs once per match, and only one person can claim the reward each time. There are seven rewards to be earned in the event, which makes it necessary to complete it seven times to obtain all of them.

How to Locate and Complete the Event

The Weapon Case event is located in the castle POI on Ashika Island. You’ll find a yellow folder icon with a question mark that indicates the specific location within the castle. To complete the event, you’ll need to gain access to a locked area and fight through enemies to collect a weapon briefcase. Once you have the briefcase, you’ll need to extract it successfully to earn the rewards.

As you approach the location, an automated turret will start firing at you. It’s recommended to have at least one person in your trio carrying semtex and the munitions box field upgrade to handle this situation. An RPG or custom light machine gun build with armor piercing rounds can also be useful.

After taking out the turret, interact with it to hack the security system and gain access to the locked area of Tsuki Castle. You’ll need to fight through more of Warzone’s AI enemies, but make your way upstairs to fight off some riot shield AI and collect the briefcase. The castle is filled with proximity mines and claymores, so be cautious and wear armor plates inside.

Once you pick up the briefcase, you or your teammate carrying it will be marked on the map for everyone in the match. Other players may try to hunt you down and take your weapon case, but you can also use this strategy to earn the rewards for yourself. The area of the castle you unlocked has the same high-tier orange and white supply boxes as a DMZ stronghold, so gear up before grabbing the case and marking yourself on the map.

Weapon Case Event Rewards

There are seven rewards to be earned in the Weapon Case event, and they can only be earned one at a time, with one being earned for each event completion. The rewards are earned in the following order:

  1. Backup Plan: Pistol weapon blueprint
  2. Aces: Emblem
  3. Full House: Calling card
  4. Bear With Me: Weapon sticker
  5. Triple Threat: Loading screen
  6. Full House: Emblem
  7. Fight Night: Assault rifle weapon blueprint

It’s worth noting that these new rewards are unique to Ashika Island. If you haven’t finished collecting the Weapon Case event rewards from Season 1, they are still available to earn on the Al Mazrah map.

Conclusion

With the addition of Ashika Island and the Weapon Case event, Call of Duty: Warzone’s second season has introduced new challenges and rewards for players. By following this guide, you can successfully complete the Weapon Case event on Ashika Island and earn all the new rewards.
