How to Get into Diablo 4 Beta: Everything You Need to Know

If you’re eagerly anticipating the release of Diablo 4, then you may be wondering how to get into diablo 4 beta before it ends. It’s set to launch in June on PC and consoles. However, before the launch, there will be two beta periods.

The first beta ran from March 17-19 which has sadly passed by the posting of this blog. However, the second beta is now open to everyone on all of the game’s supported platforms.

In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know about getting into the Diablo IV beta and what to expect once you’re in.

Diablo IV Beta Dates

Early Access: Early Download begins Wednesday, March 15 at 9 a.m. PDT

Open Beta: Early Download begins Wednesday, March 22 at 9 a.m. PDT

Players who have already downloaded for Early Access do not need to download again for Open Beta.

You can pre-load the beta right now if you received an invitation code, and the file size is more than 70GB on Xbox Series X.

The open beta will start at 9 AM PT / noon ET on March 24 and end at noon PT / 3 PM ET on March 26.

How to Get into the Beta

The open beta weekend does not require any special invitation or access code.

You can start downloading the beta from March 22 at 9 AM PT / noon ET. If you already have the early access beta client downloaded, you do not need to download it again.

Diablo IV Beta Platforms

Blizzard is making the highly anticipated Diablo IV beta available on a range of platforms, such as PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Moreover, the early downloading period for the open beta starts on March 22, concurrently for all platforms. However, gamers who have already downloaded the initial beta client do not have to go through the hassle of downloading it again for the open beta.

Additionally, players can take advantage of the couch co-op feature on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms during the beta period.

To utilize this feature, each player will need to have their own Battle.Net account. It is also worth noting that up to 10 characters can be created during the beta period.

Both the minimum and recommended PC specs for the beta have been revealed, but note that they are subject to change when the full game launches.

What to Expect from the Diablo IV Beta

Players will be able to access everything in the prologue and Act 1 of Diablo IV during the beta, including main campaign missions and extra quests.

With the upcoming Diablo IV beta, players will have the chance to dive into the first zone, Fractured Peaks, and level up their character to 25.

Blizzard has emphasized that the beta will showcase the core gameplay experience, and although bugs may be present, feedback from participants will be taken into consideration before the final release of the game.
